This section provides you information about the WMDA Working Groups and Committees that have regular meetings and develop recommendations for the WMDA Standards.
Introduction
The WMDA provides a forum for mutual discussion of all issues pertinent to the clinical use of stem cells from unrelated donors. The goals are achieved through a comprehensive system of working groups and committees, each comprised of individuals of the WMDA community, with specific expertise in transplantation, immunology, HLA, hematology and other related fields.
The Working Groups/Committees are responsible for developing the described WMDA initiatives. They are concerned with recommending the best practice in terms of the medical, ethical, technical, quality and financial aspects of international hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
